2014-2015 State of the States in Gifted Education

NAGC and the Council for State Directors of Programs for the Gifted conduct a biennial survey on gifted education services and programs in states across the country. Our most recent report, the 2018-2019 State of the States in Gifted Education, continues the story.

The most recent past report, 2014-2015 State of the States in Gifted Education, provides points for comparison and can help gifted education supporters advocate for an appropriate education for our most capable students, resulting in increased data collection, strong state policies, increased teacher training, and other critical resources.

This report contains ten key areas that provide a better understanding of the degree of support individual states offered to gifted and talented education for the school year 2014-2015.
