A parent and passionate advocate, Kathleen brings more than 30 years’ marketing and communications experience in corporate, non-profit, and agency roles to NAGC. Since 2007, Kathleen has fully immersed herself in understanding the needs of the gifted, and is well-versed on issues at the national, state, and local levels. For NAGC, she serves as the contact for “all things parent-related,” including as editor of Parenting for High Potential magazine. Kathleen often presents at national and state gifted conferences, is a frequent workshop facilitator for parents of gifted children, and co-producer of the film, “Through Gifted Eyes.” She holds a master’s degree in gifted education from Northeastern Illinois University, along with dual bachelor degrees in journalism and business from Northern Illinois University.
