Denise Weathers

Director of Membership & Marketing

Denise has over 35 years of membership, marketing and community engagement experience. She has been recognized for her expertise in delivering strong revenues, generating growth, community development, and building organizational value in diverse sectors including healthcare, transportation, and real estate for large, medium and small member-based organizations.

In addition, Denise implemented the “personal touch” campaign as a way of providing specialty-focused personalized member service to improve communications to members resulting in increased member retention, acquisition and community engagement.

For her contributions, she was recognized with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Gold Circle Award of Excellence in Membership Recruitment, and also selected as an ASAE Diversity Executive Leadership Program Scholar.

Denise earned her B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland. She has a passion for singing, and her voice has graced the background for various well-known gospel artists. She is very active in her church community and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society with her daughter, who was diagnosed with MS at the young age of 13 in 2006. It brings her much joy when she can help someone and bring a smile to their face.
