The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) today announced Keri M. Guilbault, an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University, will receive the 2019 NAGC Early Leader Award at the NAGC 66th Annual Convention in Albuquerque, NM, November 7-10, 2019.

Dr. Guilbault has extensive leadership and advocacy experience at the national, state and local levels including service on the NAGC Board of Directors, Mensa Education & Research Foundation Board of Trustees, and two terms as President of the Maryland Coalition for Gifted and Talented Education. Dr. Guilbault has created and led innovative projects to move the field forward, and she has been an active advocate for all gifted learners and their families.

“The awards program shines a light on those who are making a difference in supporting gifted children as they reach to achieve their personal best,” said Sally Krisel, NAGC Board President. “Dr. Guilbault’s expertise in gifted education make her a frequent presenter at conferences, and she is truly leading change at the local, state, and national level.”
